Every hide is individual, and so too is every piece of furniture created from it. Our studding is carried out using close-set individual nails or studs, never strips, with each nail carefully hammered in by hand. Let us begin by taking a closer look at this magnificent bespoke English leather armchair, finished in a sumptuous burgundy colour.

This leather desk chair is handmade in England using only the finest-quality materials. The hand-dyed russet hide displays all the hallmarks of natural leather, including subtle scars, stretch marks, and variations in grain and texture.

Upholstered in top-quality Scottish cowhide that has been hand-dyed and antiqued, the chair can be finished in virtually any colour upon request. The beautiful antique patina is achieved using special walnut-based stains applied during the finishing process.

As with all of our furniture, the studding is formed from individual nails or studs, each one hammered in by hand rather than applied in strips.

The visible show wood is crafted from solid mahogany, while the internal frames are made from solid beech, as we use only hardwoods in our construction.

The seat features individual double-cone hand springing, with each spring hand-sewn to the beechwood frame. Traditional fillings of canvas, fibre, and felt complete the structure.

The overall effect is both elegant and inviting, although it should be noted that hand-dyed leather may fade if exposed to prolonged direct sunlight.

Stylish yet comfortable, this fantastic sofa features Queen Anne style legs and beautiful sumptuous leather upholstery.

The ‘Old English’ leather used here is an aniline-finished hide, tanned to create a naturally distressed or ‘aged’ appearance from new. Extra fat liquors are introduced during the tanning process to give the leather a slightly waxy feel, while allowing natural markings and variations to remain visible beneath the finish.

Fine-quality leather upholstery possesses a depth of character and tactile appeal that simply cannot be replicated by other materials. With proper care, these sofas can last for many years, becoming ever more attractive as the leather softens and develops its distinctive, lived-in look.

Finally, we invite you to admire this superb bespoke leather settee suite, comprising a ‘club settee’ and a matching pair of wingback armchairs, all upholstered in a beautiful antique hazel colour.

The suite features fantastic Chippendale style ball and claw legs and beautiful leather upholstery.
