The whole piece shows of the amazing grain of the kingwood extremely well.
The central door is certainly the centrepiece of the credenza. In the centre is a large hand painted porcelain oval plaque depicting a courting couple, bordered with an ormolu mount.
There are a further five Sevres porcelain plaques decorating this beautiful cabinet.
