A stunning antique Edwardian period pedestal desk, circa 1900, bearing the stamp of Johnstone Norman & Co, of 67 New Bond Street, London, a famous retailer of the time.

In fully restored excellent condition with original handles and locks. The locks are high quality Chubb, which were only fitted to the highest quality items.

The leather writing surface has been antique finished with a hand dyed and faded effect and has hand tooled gold leaf decoration.

It is mahogany and crossbanded with kingwood and ebony line inlay. It has seven capacious drawers for all your stationary needs and the drawer linings are solid mahogany with hand cut dovetails. It is finished and inlaid on all sides so it is freestanding.
