This chest was inspired by the Louis XV style. The elaborately detailed commode features exquisite floral marquetry decoration and is made from rosewood and walnut. It has a large solid "verde antico" green marble top. The marquetry incorporate flowers and leaves. This commode is rectangular in shape, but has a curved front.

The front of this commode is decorated with ormolu mounts. Ormolu is gilded bronze and is used to ornament furniture and mouldings. A lot of intricate detailing has gone into the creation of this chest.
